Upon the initiative of the European Commission since year 2007 leading technology companies are all around Europe annually involved in "Shadowing days" to show young women that technology is not only 'strictly for geeks' and that math, science, ICT, robotics is really fun also for girls and a career they should go for!  

Shadowing Days are organized nationally and get a unique European level marketing through the common branding and the fact that the key events are presented in connection with the annual International Women's Day event, revealing the annual contributors and publishing of a Golden Book of Shadowing by the European Commission.
