250 girls from all around Norway attended the Girls' Day at NTNU 7-8 February 2013. In 2012 of a similar number of participants 60% of the girls applied for STEM education!

New ITU data on ICT and Gender

A Globally, 37% of all women are online, compared with 41% of all men. The gender gap is more pronounced in the developing world, where 16% fewer women than men use the Internet, compared with only 2% fewer women than men in the developed world.
