      Gender-IT is a two-year initiative co-funded by the European Union’s Lifelong Learning Programme, under the Leonardo da Vinci Action. It is implemented by seven partners from: •Intercollage, Cyprus, Lead Parner•University of Tartu, Unit of Gender Studies, Estonia•ITEC and Militos, Greece •Scienter España, Spain•EMMERCE EEIG, Sweden•Inova Consultancy, UK Gender-IT's specific objective is to build a European network of research, education and business partners for actively fostering gender mainstreaming in VET for the ICT sector.

 This year's eLearning Africa, the fifth in the highly successful series of pan-African gatherings, will take place in Zambia under the patronage of the Zambian Minister of Education, the Honourable Ms Dora Siliya. From 26-28 May 2010, the continent's largest annual assembly of eLearning and education professionals from Africa and beyond will convene in the capital, Lusaka.
