The Women in Green Forum the 30-31 August 2011 is the USA’s premier conference highlighting women in environmental careers. The 2011 venue is the Sheraton Delfina, in Santa Monica, California.

The Women In Green Forum brings together an international audience of environmental leaders, including corporate executives, academic researchers, technology developers, and clean tech financiers. The Forum also includes participation from regulatory agencies involved in developing the policies and legislation which will further the development and propagation of green technologies on our roads, in our homes and at our schools.

2010 Women in Green Forum

The inagural 2010 Women in Green Forum was a huge success! The two-day event kicked-off with an overview of women’s impact on the environmental industry with speakers representing Fortune 500 companies, top government posts, leading academic institutions, and successful small businesses. As a backdrop to the sessions, the Expo Hall provided attendees with exposure to the latest in green products and services. Networking activities took place in the Expo Hall in order to encourage dialogue between attendees and the wide range of exhibitors.

The second day featured a variety of breakout session tracks by industry segment, including: Green Building, Consumer Products, Green Schools, Eco Fashion, Clean Transportation, Alternative Energy, Organic Food, Community Initiatives, Recycling and Waste Diversion and Green Events. The sessions featured companies and organizations making key progress in these areas. The afternoon focused on the “Future Leaders” and helped open the doors to women who are interested in careers in green fields. There will be roundtables where attendees can sign up to engage in small group discussions about various career tracks
