On the 10th December the final conference of the PER. FOR. MA. GE. (Gender Mainstreaming Training) project  has been held in Rome, hosted by the Directorate for Equal Opportunities within the Presidency of the Council of  Ministers. The project, realized within the Progress Programme, outlined a series of training modules on gender mainstreaming targeted at the PA personnel. At the conference the experiences of partners were compared  from Spain (Secretaría General de Políticas de Igualdad –
Ministerio de Igualdad), Poland (Department for women,
Ministry of Labour and Social Policy) and  Belgium – (Institut pour l'égalité des femmes et des hommes). Another milestone to avoid that gender mainstreaming turns to be just formal integration of statements within documents and programmes.
