Opening of Exhibition Kanalplatz

Building development of the Kanalplatz - Students of the Akademie Mode and Design Hamburg (AMD) presented their ideas

The Kanalplatz is a central place within the area of Harburg Inner Harbour. The students of the AMD, a private university for fashion and design gave inspiring ideas how the place may look like in the future. Of course they developed their ideas without knowing all the restrictive regulations but that is the most inspiring starting point for discussions with city planners and investors.

Dr. Helmut Thamer, CEO TuTech, Elke-Katharina Wittich, president of the AMD and Peter Koch, head of building department Hamburg-Harburg underlined with their speeches the importance of such cross-sectoral coalitions and network activities.
