Gordon Dabinett from Sheffield University in Hamburg-Harburg

Lecture about the VISP Model - stimulating Thoughts and Impulse

On Wednesday, August 30, Prof. Gordon Dabinett from Sheffield University visited Hamburg-Harburg.

The two hours walk through Harburg Inner City and Harburg Inner Harbour ended on the 19th floor of the Channel Tower with a good overview of the City. The tour was guided by Jürgen Becker from the VISP TuTech Team, Henning von Ladiges, head of the planning department of Hamburg-Harburg and his collegue Ramona Hinkel.

After that Gordon gave a lecture at TuTech Innovation GmbH about VISP, the VISP model and the future of cities in the North Sea Region.

About ten people listened to Gordons words: Cityplanner of the HafenCity University (HCU), former Technical University Hamburg-Harburg, several people from the planning department of Hamburg-Harburg and Peter Koch, head of building authority of Hamburg-Harburg. A lively discussion was stimulated by Gordons inspiring lecture.
