FEM 2008: Wrc:s in the Baltic Sea Region in cooperation to establish business contacts between countries.

During April 2008 national seminars are to be held at women´s resource centres (wrc:s) in each of Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland. Women and female entrepreneurs at wrc:s that have been built up during the Interreg III-project FEM (2004-2007) will be the participants. A common final seminar will be arranged in Riga, Latvia at the end of May.

The aims of the project are to build a structure to have higher effectiveness in the search of business contacts between Swedish small enterprises and entrepreneurs in the Baltic States and Poland. Many Swedish female entrepreneurs contact and have contacted the Baltic-Russian-Swedish resource centre to have help to find business partners. But it is difficult to have successful partnerships between entrepreneurs.
The structure of wrc:s in establishing business contacts will at the first step be in sewing of clothes and baby toys, textile printing , knitting. Tourism  is another branch with many female entrepreneurs and the seminars will be the  places of the exchange of information between countries.

The 4 national seminars will be in
Szczecin, Poland April 5th
 Anyksciai Lithaunia  April 12th
 Tartu Estonia April 19th
Bauska  Latvia  April 26th.
At all these places wrc:s were establish during the project FEM 2004-2007.

The final common seminar will be in  Riga at May 23rd.
This meeting will give a detailed structure of how the wrc:s will help  to have more  international business contacts between female entrepreneurs in the Baltic Sea Region.
