The County Administrative Board of Östergötland, a co-operative partner of the Equal partnership Entree in Sweden and the Transnational partnership Equal Entrepreneurship E², has a great pleasure to invite you to take part in a meeting on the development of women and ethnical minorities entrepreneurship to be held in Brussels, Belgium on 15 May 2007.
During the last two years Equal Entrepreneurship E², comprising of national partnerships from Sweden, Portugal, Wales and Germany, has been working to find good methods for supporting entrepreneurship amongst specific target groups (i.e women, ethnic minorities, unemployed). Two main approaches that have been used are mainstreaming and positive actions.
The meeting is aimed at discussing possible future cooperation concerning entrepreneurship supporting activities, especially for groups under-represented as entrepreneurs: women and people with foreign background / ethnic minorities. The work with these two target groups is currently being
under way in the County of Östergötland but also on the broader territory of the region of East Middle Sweden (NUTS II). Special areas of interest:
- entrepreneurship in the healthcare sector,
- innovations,
- gender mainstreaming,
- business advice,
- role models.
