Gender Pay Gap: a European report

On July 25th the European Commission has presented to the European Parliament, the Council, the European Economic and Social Committee and the Committee of the Regions, a Communication titled "Tackling the pay gap between women and men". The report explains the meaning of gender pay gap specifying as there are considerable differences between the Member States in this regard: ita ranges from 4% (MT) to 25% (EE, CY).

A very crowded meeting has taken place in Venice last June 29th. Organized within the Equal "PONTI" Project by the Province of Venice's Women Resources' Centre with the collaboration of CdIE - Centro di Iniziativa Europea.
The Women Resources' Centre of the Province of Venice has started a series of specific acticions on the issue of Women, Unemployment and Information Technologies within the framework of the Equal Project named "PONTI".
