channel news

Special Newspaper for the Harburg Inner Port.

A good location must be attractive in two respects - in terms of business infrastructure as well as the leisure time opportunities it offers. To tell the people about our place the association channel hamburg e.V. publishes the new Newspaper "channel news" in print and also as online pdf version. The work is done in cooperation with the TuTech VISP-team. The VISP logo is always present - see on page 6.

Criss-crossed by canals and docks, the Harburg inland harbour is situated to the south of Hamburg between the district of Hamburg-Harburg, with its 200,000 inhabitants, and the south bank of the river Elbe. "channel hamburg" is the first phase of an extensively revitalised quarter that will eventually cover an area of 115 hectares.

Various areas have gradually been redeveloped as needed while at the same time other pioneering projects have been realised. As surveys show, this cautious process of restructuring has led to high levels of satisfaction and identification with the quarter.
Good visitor numbers to the numerous events on offer also confirm this.
