The IACP DAYS in Rotterdam

PORT TRANSFORMATIONS
Working towards a new generation of the Port - City
Think-Tank Conference in Rotterdam on 1 till 2 December 2005

Mr Henning von Ladiges, head of urban planning department of district Hamburg-Harburg participates as our "VISP delegate" at the Rotterdam conference.

"What the city-port transformations during the past decade have in common is that there is often a - now - classic waterfront development, in which the former port functions have been completely replaced by urban functions like housing, offices and leisure facilities like cinemas, theatres, marinas, cruise terminals, aquaria, restaurants and terraces."

We are sure that Henning von Ladiges will receive a lot of new ideas and suggestions. Henning will deliver a short report about the conference afterwards.
