The Baltic Sea Region Programme 2007-2013, was approved by the EU Commission on 21 December, 2007

  The Baltic Sea Region Programme 2007-2013 was approved by the European 
Commission on 21 December 2007. The Programme document can be downloaded

The Baltic Sea Region Programme 2007-2013 is a cooperation of eleven countries around the Baltic Sea. Project partners work together to find  joint solutions to common problems.

The Programme will support transnational projects with partners from at least three different countries. Following priorities will be supported:  Fostering innovations, Internal and external accessibility, Baltic Sea as  a common resource and Attractive and competitive cities and regions.

The first meeting of the Monitoring Committee will take place in Rostock on 14-15 February 2008. Decision about when the first call for project proposals is open will be taken at this meeting.

As a support to project idea owners the Joint Technical Secretariat will offer individual consultations for potential applicants at the Lead  Applicant seminars that will take place shortly after the first call for project proposals is opened. For more information please follow  eu.baltic.net.
